I can see everything

Morning friends,

Today I will write in English because it is easier for me!

I can see everything from my new little office. I am looking at the elevators and the coffee machine, so now I can control who goes out, who comes in and who makes breaks all the time. :P

I can also see the Rembrandtplein from here, if I turn my head a bit. The man are working on the train rails and besides them, there aren't many people on the streets. The terraces are still there, but the summer is gone.

There are no clouds, just plain and infinite white. The people tend to be more unhappy when the weather is like this, but actually I am feeling quite good today.

To be continued...

(After lunch) Last week I meet the nicest dog. When we arrived at a little village in the south of Sao Miguel, he was there looking at us very happy. We went there to walk through a beautiful trail that would lead as to a waterfall. When we started walking we noticed that the very friendly dog was coming with us, so I though he was just walking to the beginning of the trail. But he never stopped. During the way I was thinking to myself the reasons for this doggy to be with us:

  • He was the trail guide, and accompanied everyone who went on it, plus he knows he will be rewarded at the end, with a bit of sandwich or a cookie. It's the way people pay him for his job.
  • He is a sport addict, he practices everyday, and since that are no gyms in that little village, that is his way of staying in shape.
  • There was more in my imagination that day, but I lost it.
Sometimes the dog went ahead meeting other people and we stop seeing him, but with a whistle he would come back like we were his owners. We arrived at the waterfall. What a spectacular place! In the middle of the woods, with just a few rays of light through the trees, and a fresh air. He waited. On the way back he met some other people and he left. It was not until the end of the journey, after passing an old inhabited village, that we found him waiting for us by the car. I gave him a piece of sandwich and with some tears in my eye I drove away. He said good buy with a smile and already had found some other tourists to guide. I made a friend that day. :)
